Firefighter station-duty shoes

Summary

The Berlin Fire Brigade is establishing a framework agreement for the supply of up to 3,200 pairs of duty shoes. The procurement has two lots: Lot 1 covers shoes with hook-and-loop fastening and Lot 2 covers shoes with a BOA fastening system. Bidders may tender for both lots, but each bidder may be awarded only one. The framework agreement has a maximum value of EUR 262,400 and runs from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2029. Deliveries are due within 14 calendar days of each call-off unless the bidder offers a shorter binding delivery time. For Lot 1, shoes must meet the S1 safety footwear requirements of DIN EN ISO 20345 and provide SCR protection and ESD capability. Sizes 36–49 and at least two widths are required, along with black uppers, an antistatic sole and at least 20 joules of energy absorption in the heel. Further mandatory technical requirements include centrally positioned adjustable hook-and-loop fastening, a replaceable anatomical insole, the ability to make orthopaedic insoles, and an upper material tested for harmful substances. A sample pair in size 43 must be submitted for each offered item. The bidder must provide at least a 24-month warranty, repair service and stock of 20 pairs in each size from 41 to 46, deliverable within 7 calendar days. Offers are assessed on price, quality, delivery time, wearing comfort and spare parts. The offer must be submitted in German with the required forms, technical evidence and proof of compliance with labour standards.
