Outdoor-area planning for the family centre on Julius-Birck Street in Duisburg

Summary

The City of Duisburg, through Wirtschaftsbetriebe Duisburg, is procuring outdoor-area planning for the new family centre at Julius-Birck-Strasse 27, beside the existing daycare centre. The planning area covers approximately 1,780 m²: about 790 m² for the daycare centre’s play area and 990 m² for shared outdoor space and access. The design includes age-appropriate play areas, accessible paths, multipurpose spaces, greenery, 14 car parking spaces, 12 bicycle spaces, stroller storage and electric-vehicle charging infrastructure. Basic services cover HOAI service phases 1–9 in four stages, with the final stage optional; the contract is not divided into lots.
