Supply of fine white lime and hydrated lime

Summary

The tender concerns a one-year supply contract for fine white lime (calcium oxide) and hydrated lime (calcium hydroxide) with high or medium specific surface area, used in the flue-gas cleaning systems of Solingen's waste-to-energy plant. The contract is divided into three lots and runs from 1 January to 31 December 2027. Expected quantities are 1,000 Mg of white lime, 220 Mg of hydrated lime with high specific surface area, and 1,800 Mg of hydrated lime with medium specific surface area. The maximum quantities are 2,200 Mg, 450 Mg and 3,000 Mg respectively. Deliveries are made in batches of approximately 27 tonnes for Lot 1 and approximately 20 tonnes for Lots 2 and 3. A requested batch must generally be delivered within one calendar day. Offers must be submitted electronically in German by 12 October 2026 at 10:00 and remain valid for 60 days. Lot 1 is evaluated using price and performance criteria, with price weighted at 60% and performance at 40%. Price is the only award criterion for Lots 2 and 3. The bidder must comply with the technical specifications, provide the required safety data sheets and product data sheets, and meet the reference, insurance and declaration requirements.
