Cleaning the City of Chemnitz's administrative buildings, Lots 1–3

Summary

The City of Chemnitz is procuring cleaning services for administrative buildings in three lots: Lot 1 covers Chemnitz Town Hall; Lot 2 covers the New Technical Town Hall and the Arts and Crafts House; and Lot 3 covers Bürgerhaus am Wall, the Welcome Center and rented premises used by the municipal public-order service. Services are scheduled to begin on 1 February 2027, with the initial contract period ending on 31 January 2029. The contract will automatically extend in 12-month periods unless terminated at least five months before the end of the relevant period; the latest end date is 31 January 2033. Bids must be submitted electronically by 2 November 2026 at 08:30. Bids must cover all three lots, but normally a bidder may be awarded only one lot; the priority order is Lots 1, 2 and 3. Price is the sole award criterion. A 15% evaluation bonus is applied to workshops for people with disabilities, and their bid is preferred in the event of an equal economic result. Bidders must submit the required offer forms and declarations, including declarations on suitability, insurance and personnel. If requested, they must provide three references for comparable services performed during the previous three years, stating a contact person, service description, contract value and performance period. The contractor must carry out cleaning at the times and frequencies set out in the tender documents, prepare a room-by-room cleaning schedule, and name a responsible site manager and disinfection specialist for each facility. The contractor must use suitable, properly instructed staff, provide the necessary cleaning equipment, and use cleaning products that meet the applicable safety, hygiene and environmental requirements.
