Renewal of the Reutebachgasse railway overpass, Line 4000, km 205.091

Summary

The tender covers the 2027 renewal of the railway overpass over Reutebachgasse in Freiburg (Line 4000, km 205.091). The new structure must provide a clear span of 9.00 m, and the works will be carried out using temporary bridges. The work includes demolishing the existing bridge deck and parts of its abutments, installing and removing the temporary bridges, building foundations, abutments and retaining walls for the new structure, and constructing new girders and edge sections. The description envisages approximately 12 cast-in-place bored piles, around 460 m³ of concrete, approximately 36 tonnes of rolled steel sections, and around 120 m³ of concrete for the new girders and edge sections. Two complete railway closures are planned between Gundelfingen and Freiburg Central Station: the first, lasting just under a week, in June 2027, and the second, lasting approximately five days, in October 2027. After the bridge renewal, the City of Freiburg will carry out roadworks in the Reutebachgasse area. The bid submission deadline is 15 October 2026.
