Modal split survey for the Heinsberg district

Summary

Kreis Heinsberg is commissioning a representative 2027 survey of residents’ travel behaviour across the district’s ten municipalities, which together have about 263,500 residents. The work includes designing and conducting the household survey, analysing travel patterns by transport mode and purpose, comparing results with the 2012 and 2018 surveys and relevant benchmarks in North Rhine-Westphalia, and delivering long and short final reports with a presentation in autumn 2027. The survey is to use AGFS standards, with a net sample of at least 1% of the district’s population and at least 180 participants from each smaller municipality.
