Emptying and wastewater removal from cesspits at Steinburg rest area

Summary

Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes is procuring the emptying of the cesspit at Steinburg rest area on the A23 and the transport of wastewater to an authorised recovery or treatment facility. The scope includes 450 weekday services, 60 additional services on request on Tuesdays or Thursdays, 60 Saturday services and 40 Sunday or public-holiday services; each emptying service covers 12 m³, with disposal charges priced for 7,320 m³. The contract runs for 24 months, with two possible 12-month extensions, up to a maximum of 48 months.
