Biological supervision of habitat works in the Northern Lake Lowlands

Summary

Stiftung Naturschutz Schleswig-Holstein is procuring biological supervision of civil engineering works at five sites on Fehmarn: Bojendorf, Westermakelsdorf, Altenteil, Wenkendorf West and East, and Puttgarden. The works include restoring small ponds, creating a pool for natterjack toads, removing tree stumps and shrubs, and building winter shelters, to protect and improve habitats for amphibians and other species. The supervision is required during the excavator work, for up to 60 days within the period from late November 2026 to 25 October 2028.
