Asbestos remediation of smoke extraction dampers

Summary

Staatliches Bauamt Weilheim is procuring asbestos remediation and dismantling work at a site in Landsberg am Lech. The work includes the specialist removal of 36 asbestos-containing fire dampers and approximately 880 m² of mineral-wool-insulated ventilation ducts and 140 m² of uninsulated ducts, some of which are intended for later reuse. Work is to be carried out in stages while the facility remains operational; installation of replacement dampers and restoration of the ventilation and smoke extraction systems are assigned to separate contractors. The works are scheduled to begin on 8 March 2027 and be completed by 22 December 2028.
