The University Hospital of Cologne is procuring general-contractor works to renovate and convert patient rooms on the first and second floors of its Eye Clinic into upgraded private-patient wards. The project covers 22 beds in 17 rooms, 17 bathrooms, ward corridors and a lounge, including demolition and construction works, building services, planning, fixtures and equipment. Hazardous-material remediation is carried out by the client, except for the removal and disposal of hazardous mineral-wool insulation on pipes, which is included; loose furniture is excluded.
