Engineering services for the refurbishment of the Erste Mühle bridge and a modular materials concept for pedestrian bridges

Summary

The Hanseatic City of Wipperfürth is procuring engineering services to refurbish the Erste Mühle pedestrian bridge over the Wupper following a severe rainfall event, including repair planning for its supports and central pier and the connection to Lenneper Straße. The contract also covers a modular materials concept for 13 pedestrian bridges, with structural calculations and plans for seven standard span, width and load configurations, including three configurations designed for 18-tonne vehicles.
