Maintenance work on electrical systems under a time-based contract

Summary

Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is procuring recurring maintenance, inspection and fault-repair services for electrical installations across its Campus North site, which comprises around 300 buildings over 2.5 km². The work covers systems from main and sub-distribution boards through sockets, switches and lighting, as well as lightning protection, EIB/KNX systems and specified gates and vehicle barriers. The contract runs for three years, with an option to extend it once by one year; a 24-hour emergency service is included.
