Track renewal on Track 9 at the Port of Gelsenkirchen

Summary

GELSEN-LOG is procuring renewal of approximately 270 metres of Track 9 at the Port of Gelsenkirchen. The works include removing the existing grooved-rail track and pavement, constructing a new 57R1 track on concrete sleepers with a reinforced concrete surface, carrying out rail welding and drainage works, and supplying rails, sleepers and a buffer stop. The contract also covers site logistics and temporary crossings needed to maintain port traffic during construction; the works are to be completed by 30 April 2027.
