Renewal of the Large Pond in the Botanical Garden – Lot 2: Construction of the Large Pond

Summary

The City of Chemnitz is procuring works for Lot 2 of the renewal of the large pond in the Botanical Garden. The works include earthworks and installation of an approximately 840 m² pond seal, geotextile and surface finishes, together with pond equipment such as a pump, filter, aeration compressor, hose and spring stone. The scope also includes disposal of 560 tonnes of surplus soil, planting-related works and associated site preparation; construction is scheduled from 15 January to 31 May 2027.
