Rehabilitation of the Moritzbach in Zwickau, Phase 1

Summary

The City of Zwickau is procuring the first-phase rehabilitation of the Moritzbach between Lessingstraße and Leipziger Straße. The single-lot works include demolition and removal of about 100 m³ of existing structures, disposal of 450 tonnes of non-hazardous waste, concrete and reinforced-concrete works, 300 m of micropiles, masonry and natural-stone works, railings, and about 90 m² of pavement construction. The contract also covers traffic management, earthworks, scaffolding, surveying, execution planning for temporary works, and coordination and assessments related to heritage protection. Works are scheduled from 1 February to 16 July 2027.
