B 6 retaining wall STW 77 replacement in Zehren: ground and existing-structure investigations

Summary

The State Office for Road Construction and Transport, Meißen branch, is procuring specialist ground and existing-structure investigations for the replacement of retaining wall STW 77 on the B 6 in Zehren. The work includes two 20 m rotary core boreholes, one 10 m rotary core borehole, one 20 m heavy dynamic probing, four 0.6 m road-pavement trial pits with plate-load tests, five 5 m core sampling probes, an excavation to investigate a building’s foundation, and sampling from the verge and the embankment in front of the wall.
