Long timber harvesting with resulting short timber in the Üdersdorf forest district

Summary

The contract covers one forestry operation in the Üdersdorf area managed by the Daun Forestry Office: harvesting and forwarding an estimated 500 solid cubic metres of timber, including processing long timber and the short timber arising from the work into assortments. The work period is 26 October to 20 November 2026. An estimated 85% of the timber is logs at least 7 m long, 10% is 2.5–3 m assortments and 5% is 3.0–6.9 m assortments; the planned species are spruce, fir and Douglas fir. Bidders must base their price calculations on the detailed operations schedule, whose quantities and values govern the calculation. An additional volume of up to 200 solid cubic metres may be ordered by mutual agreement, but the bidder has no entitlement to that optional volume. Bids are due by 08:00 on 19 October 2026, and the lowest-priced bid will be selected. Bidders must submit the required declarations and evidence, including a forestry contractor certificate or the specified exemption evidence, as well as qualification details for the proposed personnel.
