Tender detail
Tree safety works in the Reiersdorf and Finkenkrug forest districts
Summary
The tender covers tree felling, removal and pruning to improve public safety in the Reiersdorf and Finkenkrug forest districts. In Reiersdorf, along Schlufter Straße on road K 6011 between Groß Schönebeck and Schluft, approximately 14 hazardous trees are to be felled or removed and about 9 trees are to receive crown or weight-reduction pruning. The trees are red oaks and the work area is approximately 0.25 km long. Felled trees and removed parts are to remain in the forest, while paths and tracks must be cleared. Lot 4 in Finkenkrug involves work on four oaks, including felling an oak approximately 40 cm in diameter and removing dead and overhanging branches; a lifting platform or climbing and rope-access equipment is required. The contract may be divided into lots, and bids may cover one or more lots; variant bids are not permitted. Reiersdorf quantities are estimates, with a contractual tolerance of ±20% from the baseline quantity. Work is to start as soon as possible after award; the stated performance period is November–December 2026. The bid submission deadline is 23 October 2026 at 09:00, and bids must be submitted electronically. Participation requires evidence of business registration, at least 3 years of practical tree-care experience and at least 3 references from the last 3 years, as well as the required certificates: a PEFC-recognised RAL or DFSZ certificate and, for Reiersdorf work, additional proof of FSC certification. Required declarations must be submitted, and the forestry, safety and environmental requirements in the tender documents must be followed.
