Road and footway construction with street lighting on Fahlenbergstraße
Summary
The contract covers the full reconstruction of an approximately 296-metre section of Fahlenbergstraße in Berlin's Treptow-Köpenick district, between Wolfgang-Steinitz-Straße and Fürstenwalder Allee. The works include demolition of existing surfaces and structures, earthworks and road construction, asphalt and paving, landscaping, construction of infiltration swales and installation of public street lighting. The contract also includes works on a drinking-water pressure pipeline and sewer manholes, as well as construction of a swale-and-infiltration trench system. Work will be carried out in two phases and must respect the requirements applying to water-protection zone III A and existing water-law permits. The contractor is responsible for worksite traffic safety, maintaining access for residents and emergency services, coordinating the works, protecting the site and surrounding areas, and restoring affected areas when the work is complete. Removal of tar- or pitch-containing asphalt must comply with hazardous-material handling and waste-disposal requirements. Lighting installation must be coordinated with the network operator, with notice given at least 6 working weeks, or 30 working days, in advance. The offer must include the required qualification and compliance documents and the priced bill of quantities. The contract is not divided into lots, and variant offers are not permitted. Price is the sole award criterion. The offer must be submitted electronically through the contracting authority's platform by 3 November 2026 at 10:00. Questions must be submitted through the platform by 23 October 2026. The scheduled works period is 4 January 2027 to 12 April 2028.
