K16 carriageway rehabilitation between Imgenbroich and Mützenich

Summary

The tender covers rehabilitation of the K16 carriageway in Monschau-Imgenbroich, along the Hengstbüchel section between Imgenbroich and Mützenich. Approximately 3,000 m² of roadway will be renewed, three existing traffic-calming narrowings removed and four raised traffic-calming ramps built. The works also include milling and laying new asphalt layers, partial renewal of curbs and channels, adjusting or replacing road drains and manhole covers, and applying road markings. The ramps will have a 70 cm full-depth structure: 35 cm frost-protection layer, 15 cm crushed-stone base, 10 cm asphalt base course, 6 cm asphalt binder course and 4 cm asphalt surfacing. The road will be fully closed during construction, while access for residents must be maintained where the work allows. Work must start immediately after award and no later than week 46 of 2026, and must be completed by 23 December 2026. The electronic offer deadline is 15 October 2026 at 10:00. The offer must be in German and include the required forms, a list of references for comparable works, proof of liability insurance, written confirmation of employee occupational-safety training, and BASt test reports demonstrating the suitability of materials. Price is the sole award criterion (100%); the contract is not divided into lots and alternative tenders are not permitted.
