Renovation of the Ochsendorf wastewater pumping station using the shaft-within-a-shaft method, including mechanical equipment and pipework

Summary

The contract covers renovation of the existing wastewater pumping station in Ochsendorf. The work includes preparing and dismantling parts of the existing station, installing a new internal pumping-station structure of at least DN 2800 inside the existing shaft, and renewing the mechanical equipment and pipework. The contractor must also provide temporary wastewater pumping while the station remains in operation, install pipes and cables, reinstate surfaces and ground, and build a crane foundation. The contractor will install pumps, isolation equipment and measuring instruments supplied by the contracting authority. The work must follow the technical standards and sequence set out in the tender documents. The existing station must be surveyed within 14 days and the pumping-shaft workshop drawings submitted within 28 days of contract award. The warranty period for all work is four years.
