Masonry works for the new social building and sports halls

Summary

The contract covers masonry works for a new social building at Bonhoefferstraße 33 in Wolfsburg and masonry-related renovation works in two existing school sports halls. The work includes site setup, construction of load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls, masonry openings and lintels, horizontal damp-proofing, demolition of existing masonry and steel frames, and work associated with concrete ring beams and beams. The new building includes, among other works, 24 cm-thick load-bearing external and internal sand-lime masonry walls; in the sports halls, existing masonry will be demolished and new brick and sand-lime masonry constructed. The schedule provides for masonry works at the social building from 9 February to 1 March 2027, followed by demolition of hall interior walls and construction of new interior walls from 2 to 30 March 2027. Bidders must submit a priced tender and the required cost-calculation information. Participation requires declarations concerning comparable experience, availability of the necessary workforce and relevant registrations; supporting evidence may be requested during assessment. During performance, a suitably qualified, German-speaking foreman must be present on site during working hours. The tender price must also cover qualified specialist site management and the necessary work planning.
