Pulmonary specialist services at the remand prison’s central hospital
Summary
The tender covers outpatient and inpatient specialist pulmonary care at the Central Hospital of Hamburg’s remand prison. Services are to be provided at the hospital’s premises at Holstenglacis 3. The contract covers up to 156 treatment hours; when needed and agreed with the prison, appointments must be held every two weeks for up to six hours during normal working hours. The contract runs from 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2028, with two possible one-year extensions, ending no later than 31 October 2030. Bidders must submit a suitability form, a CV, evidence of medical licensure and specialist qualifications, and references for similar services from the previous three years; an exception applies to certain applicants with relevant work at the facility or a Hamburg correctional facility. Personnel born on or after 1 January 1971 must provide evidence of measles vaccination or immunity unless medically contraindicated. Service providers must undergo security screening, and adequate professional indemnity insurance must be evidenced before the first appointment. Bids must be submitted electronically, and price is the sole award criterion (100%).
