Tender detail
Corrosion protection of interior steel structures at the Louise Briquette Factory
Summary
The tender concerns corrosion protection works on interior steel structures at the Louise Briquette Factory, a protected industrial monument. The work covers approximately 520 m² of mechanical cleaning to remove loose coatings, dirt and corrosion residue, followed by application of a transparent, drying corrosion-protection oil. Intact historic coatings are to be preserved. Additional work is required at complex connections, and 20 metres of low beams and lintels along visitor routes must be marked. The contractor must also erect, dismantle and relocate a mobile working platform. The museum will remain in operation, with guided visits continuing during the works; activities must be coordinated with site management, and historic surfaces and adjacent structures must be protected. The planned execution period is November 2026 to February 2027. Offers must be submitted by 13 October 2026 at 13:00, and price is the sole award criterion. The offer must include a priced bill of quantities, the required product information, and documents supporting suitability and insurance. At least 2 comparable references from the last 3 years are required, but no minimum turnover amount is specified.
