Protection works for existing structures at the Thermalsolbad

Summary

The contract covers protection of structures that will remain during renovation works at the Thermalsolbad indoor pool and outdoor pool, together with construction-site facilities. Work will take place while the swimming pool remains in operation, so the pool must be protected from damage, dirt and dust, and swimming activities must continue. The scope includes, among other things, installing and removing a 2 m construction fence, temporary toilets, temporary power and lighting; covering and protecting the glass façade, doors, columns, internal glazing, suspended ceilings, pool surrounds, ventilation openings, channels and floor drains; removing a glass door and installing a temporary construction door; building an internal dust-tight enclosure around openings in the glass façade; and providing an approximately 25 × 25 m heated external shelter. Continued pool operation must be ensured, and the external works must be completed no later than 18 December 2026. The contractual start date is 30 November 2026 and the completion deadline is 30 July 2027. Price is the sole award criterion. Offers must be submitted electronically by 10:00 on 19 October 2026. The bidder must provide a qualification self-declaration, information about comparable experience and available staff, and the required wage-compliance declarations; no minimum turnover threshold is specified.
