Summary

The procurement concerns the purchase of a new research tractor of approximately 75 kW, together with a complete automatic steering system, installation and user training, for the Field Crops Unit of the Technical University of Munich. The tractor will be used for agricultural trials and the management of approximately 550 hectares. The tractor must have a rated engine output of at least 75 kW at 2,100 rpm, a displacement of at least 3,200 cm³, maximum torque of at least 500 Nm, and emissions class V or newer. Requirements include, among other things, a closed, suspended cab; a continuously variable transmission operating from 0.02 to 40 km/h; four-wheel drive; rear lift capacity of at least 4,200 kg; front lift capacity of at least 2,500 kg; load-sensing hydraulics rated at no less than 100 l/min; and extensive ISOBUS equipment. Permissible gross weight must be at least 7,500 kg, while unladen weight with a full fuel tank must not exceed 4,500 kg. The offer must include the tractor and a steering system suitable for experimental field work. The system must provide RTK positioning with 2–3 cm accuracy when driving both forwards and backwards, and must be compatible with MiniGIS and the existing steering systems specified in the tender documents. Requirements also include, among other things, ISOBUS functions, importing and exporting trial plans, planning experimental plots on the control unit, and controlling the automatic start of the seed drill. Delivery must be free of charge by January 2027 at the latest, or by agreement; the warranty must be at least 12 months. The workshop must be within 25 km, or the supplier must provide on-site service at no extra charge. A test drive or trial operation must be possible before the purchase decision. The bidder must submit a priced offer and the completed documents required by the tender documents. Participation requires, among other things, information on insurance, turnover for the last three financial years and at least three comparable references.
