Demolition of window parapet masonry at properties in Salzgitter-Bad

Summary

The contract covers demolition of masonry window parapets and related temporary closures and dust protection at properties on Rheinstraße and Engeroder Straße in Salzgitter-Bad. The work forms part of the phased renovation of 146 apartments in 38 listed buildings. The scope includes demolition of 111 parapets, temporary opening closures, site setup and proper removal of waste. Work in occupied buildings must be planned to minimise noise, dust and other disruption to residents. The bid must include evidence of construction insurance and professional or business liability insurance, as well as the priced bill of quantities and required declarations. Registration, tax and insurance certificates must be provided if separately requested by the contracting authority; the bidder must also provide workforce information for the last three years and three references for comparable work from the previous five calendar years. The bidder and any subcontractors must comply with applicable minimum-pay rules: at least EUR 12.82 from 1 January 2025 and EUR 13.90 from 1 January 2026 under the statutory minimum wage, or any higher applicable rate.
