Construction of an intermodal terminal at Riesa Harbour – Lot 11: Muskator railway track and flood retention area

Summary

The procurement concerns construction of an intermodal freight terminal in the Old Port area of Riesa Harbour, Lot 11 – the Muskator railway track and flood retention area. The works include felling 395 trees, clearing 13,000 m² of shrubs, removing and handling 630 m of railway track and its substructure, stripping and reinstating topsoil over 13,000 m² with grass seeding and maintenance, excavating and handling 8,600 m³ of soil, and protecting existing utility infrastructure. Work must start no later than 12 working days after receipt of the order and be completed by 30 September 2030; further interim deadlines are set out in the tender documents.
