Supply of a high-roof panel van with a gross vehicle weight of 5,000 kg

Summary

The procurement is for the delivery of one new enclosed high-roof panel van for Düsseldorf’s municipal drainage service. The vehicle is intended for later conversion to accommodate a modular, self-contained high-pressure cleaning system and will be used to clean streets and household sewer connections. The required vehicle must have a gross vehicle weight of 5,000 kg and a payload of at least 2,200 kg. The wheelbase may not exceed 3,650 mm, the overall length 5,990 mm and the overall height 2,630 mm. The load compartment must be at least 3,450 mm long, 1,760 mm wide and 1,860 mm high, with at least 1,030 mm between the wheel arches; the unloaded loading-floor height may not exceed 720 mm. Requirements include a turbocharged diesel engine of at least 120 kW and no more than 2,000 cm³, EURO VI E emissions class, automatic transmission, rear-wheel drive, an electronic speed limit of 90 km/h and driving noise not exceeding 72 dB. The vehicle must have reinforced suspension, axle capacities of at least 2,200 kg at the front and 3,500 kg at the rear, rear twin wheels, 205/70 R 17C all-season tyres and a full-size spare. Required equipment includes two side sliding doors, double rear doors opening to 270 degrees, two seats, driver-assistance systems, a reversing camera, heating and climate-control systems, LED lights and the specified safety and comfort features. The vehicle must be white, inspected by TÜV and registered as a truck. Delivery is due by 31 March 2027 to the municipal drainage service site in Düsseldorf. The offer must state the delivery date; a later delivery is treated as an alternative offer. The supplier must provide operating and maintenance instructions, vehicle documents, the accident-prevention inspection report and two document sets, including system descriptions and maintenance instructions. Acceptance is conditional on the vehicle being defect-free and all documents being complete. The supplier must provide free on-site instruction for staff, a warranty of at least 24 months, and repairs and vehicle transport at no cost to the buyer. Wear parts and spare parts must be delivered free of freight and packaging within 24 working hours at the agreed municipal discount. The offer must comply with the technical specification and the employment, wage and contractual conditions in the tender documents.
