Replacement of LANCOM Network Switches with Maintenance and LMC Usage Licence

Summary

The City of Nuremberg is procuring R&S LANCOM network switches to modernise its internal network, together with 36 months of maintenance and LMC usage licences, plus connection cables and modules. The order includes 31 switches across several models, including GS-4530X, GS-4530XUP, GS-4554X, YS-7154CF, IGS-3128XF and devices in the GS-24xx and GS-36xx ranges, as well as 4 connection cables and 12 SFP modules. Manufacturer security updates and support are required; certain models also require a 24/7 fault hotline, specified initial response times and next-business-day replacement equipment. Bids must be submitted electronically in German. Delivery and performance are scheduled for 1 December 2026 to 28 February 2027; alternatively, work must start no later than 12 working days after contract award. Bidders must be LANCOM Gold Partners or higher, provide troubleshooting and support in German, have their registered office in Germany, and submit the required comparable-work references and other qualification evidence. Price is the only award criterion, and alternative offers are not permitted.
