Conversion of the precipitation-chemical storage tank and containment surface at Eschede wastewater treatment plant

Summary

The contract covers replacement of the precipitation-chemical storage tank at the Eschede wastewater treatment plant and renewal of the containment surface used for handling chemicals. The contractor must supply and install a tank with a bund, the required connections, overfill protection, a visual-mechanical level indicator, and filling and vent pipes. The works also include removing the existing reinforced-concrete surface and foundations, constructing a collection sump and pipework, and reinstating the adjoining paved surface. Work on the containment surface must demonstrably be carried out by a certified specialist company. The works are scheduled from 4 January to 30 April 2027.
