Supply of a chassis for a fire service command vehicle

Summary

The tender is for the supply of one van-type chassis for a fire service command vehicle (KdoW) for Rheine, to be converted in line with the principles of DIN 14507 Part 5 and accommodate three crew members. The chassis must be delivered to the vehicle body manufacturer no later than 28 weeks after contract award. Among other requirements, it must have permanent all-wheel drive, a diesel engine rated at least 135 kW, meet Euro 6 emissions standards and stay within the specified weight and dimension limits; payload must be at least 800 kg. A full warranty of at least 24 months and spare-parts availability for at least 10 years are required. The bid price must include transfer and pre-delivery inspection costs, as well as the costs of the clarification meeting and technical acceptance and handover, including catering and, if necessary, accommodation for three people. The bidder must submit a fully completed price and technical data sheet and price optional extras separately. Bids will be evaluated on price (70%) and technical features and conditions (30%); technical scoring depends on payload reserve, delivery time, warranty and spare-parts support. The bidder must provide a declaration concerning exclusion grounds. For a joint bid, members must collectively meet the suitability requirements and appoint an authorised representative; the required information and documents must be provided when relying on another company’s capacity or using subcontractors.
