Financial Loss Insurance for Losses Caused by Trusted Persons

Summary

The tender is for financial loss insurance for the City of Aachen. The cover includes financial losses directly caused to the city by culpable breaches of official duties by trusted persons, as well as specified losses resulting from robbery, extortion or fraud and the unintentional loss of entrusted items. The main offer must provide an insurance sum of EUR 50,000; a compliant alternative offer with an insurance sum of EUR 100,000 may also be submitted. Cover starts on 1 January 2027. The contract renews automatically for successive one-year periods and may last no more than four years. Bidders must submit an offer, a schedule of services, a declaration concerning exclusion grounds and a list of comparable services from the last three years. No tender security is required, and price is the sole award criterion.
