Düren Integration Centre (DIZ)

Summary

The tender covers the design and delivery of a 12-month employment-integration programme at the Düren Integration Centre (DIZ) for people aged 18 or over who receive benefits under Social Code Book II, have a migration background and need support with language, social or vocational integration. The aim is to help participants move into employment, vocational training or qualification programmes. At least 20% of participants must enter employment covered by social insurance, company-based vocational training or company-based retraining. The service includes assessing participants’ skills and needs; helping them find and join language courses; career planning; individual job-application support; practical work trials; and support with transitions into work, training or qualification programmes. At least 75% of participants must take part in practical work trials, and at least 50% of those participants must complete an external placement. The provider must also offer social-pedagogical support, develop essential workplace skills and cooperate with regional employers and support networks. The programme runs from 1 January to 31 December 2027, with a 10-month participant referral period and capacity for up to 55 people at any one time. The standard individual participation period is four months and may be extended where justified, up to a maximum of 12 months. Each participant must receive support on at least two days per week, including at least one in-person session. The provider must supply 5.25 full-time equivalents across the required roles and suitable premises in Düren. The bid must include a substantive delivery plan of no more than 50 pages. Price and the quality of the plan carry equal weight in the award decision. The deadline is 27 October 2026 at 10:15.
