Roadworks for reconstruction of the “Im Steg” level crossing in Stolberg

Summary

The tender covers roadworks associated with reconstruction of the “Im Steg” railway level crossing in the Breinig district of Stolberg. The works include demolishing and removing existing roads and facilities; renewing and partly widening carriageways and footways; constructing asphalt and paved surfaces, kerbs and road drainage; installing cable ducts and chambers; and providing new traffic signs, road markings and other equipment. Construction is planned in two phases, with access for residents and emergency services to be maintained. There will be no train traffic on the railway during construction.
