Electrical installation works for the machine hall computing capacity expansion

Summary

The tender concerns the conversion and expansion of the electrical infrastructure in the Technical University of Braunschweig’s machine hall to increase computing capacity in Building 1327 at Bienroder Weg 95, Braunschweig. The works include low-voltage installations; supplying and installing the main and sub-distribution boards; installing cables and cable routes; dismantling existing switchgear and cables; fire-stopping cable penetrations; inspecting and commissioning the electrical installation; and preparing handover and as-built documentation. The bidder must have sufficient workers, hold any applicable registrations, and confirm payment of taxes and social security contributions. For work performed in Germany, workers must be paid at least €12.82 from 1 January 2025 and €13.90 from 1 January 2026, or any higher applicable rate. The installation manager must speak German and be named within two calendar weeks after award.
