Filming and digitisation of historical records
Summary
The tender covers the preservation filming of historical records, manuscripts and name indexes of civil status registers held by the Halle City Archives, the production of security copies and the digitisation of the microfilms. The material dates from 1603 to 1995 and comprises approximately 85 archive boxes, 402 archival units, 65,700 sheets and around 65,000 microfilm exposures. The contractor must collect the material from the Halle City Archives, process it at its own premises, return it together with the films, security copies, digital files and completed project list, and protect it throughout the process. Filming must use 35 mm silver-gelatin roll film in accordance with DIN ISO 6199:2008-12, with a complete diazo security copy made of each original. The films must be digitised at 300 dpi into PDF/A files. Tenders must be submitted electronically by 28 September 2026 at 12:00. Price is the only award criterion and variant tenders are not permitted.
