Mass deacidification and restoration of archival files

Summary

The tender concerns the mass deacidification, prior technical treatment and restoration of archival files from the Berlin National Socialist Special Court dating from 1933 to 1945. The scope covers 10 linear metres, or 909 files. The files may contain photographs and small special materials, such as keys, hair or crime-related objects, which must be handled separately because of their different materials. The aim is to prepare the documents for use and for object-preserving digitisation in accordance with DIN 33910. Work must begin immediately after contract award, and the documents must be returned by 30 November 2026 at the latest. Tenders must be submitted electronically by 10:00 on 28 September 2026; postal submissions are not permitted. The contract is not divided into lots and alternative tenders are not allowed.
