Layout and Typesetting of the 175th Anniversary Picture Book

Summary

The tender concerns the design, layout and typesetting of a commemorative picture book for the 175th anniversary of the Berlin Fire Brigade. The book will contain approximately 350 historical and contemporary images and about 360 pages in a 21.5 × 19.5 cm landscape format. The supplier must develop the visual concept, create the complete layout, process images, place the texts and captions, coordinate revisions and cooperate with the client, author and printing company. The deliverables include a print-ready PDF with bleed and crop marks, an accessible PDF meeting PDF/UA and EN ISO 14289-1 requirements with a PAC accessibility report, and open working files with linked assets. The work must be completed and delivered by 28 October 2026, the concept must be submitted by 14 October 2026, and the invoice must be issued by 14 December 2026. Price is the only award criterion.
