Outdoor facilities planning – renovation of an artificial turf field

Summary

The contract concerns outdoor facilities planning for the complete renovation of the approximately 5,800 m² artificial turf field at the Wasserturm sports ground in Bernau bei Berlin. The planner must deliver HOAI service phases 3 and 5–9 under Section 39, including design and execution planning, approval documents, tender documents, procurement support, construction supervision, cost control and subsequent defect monitoring. The planning must address renewal of the artificial turf, substructure and drainage, any necessary repairs to the running track, restoration of field markings and reuse of existing equipment where possible. Attributable costs are EUR 540,500 net, and the project is assigned to HOAI fee zone III. Planning is to start immediately and the construction implementation must be scheduled for the summer holidays from 1 July to 14 August 2027. The tender deadline is 28 September 2026 at 10:00. Price or fee is the only award criterion and is weighted at 100%.
