Sphagnum paludiculture – accompanying study of nutrients and greenhouse gas emissions

Summary

The tender concerns a multi-year scientific accompanying study at two Sphagnum paludiculture demonstration sites in Hankhauser Moor and Barver Moor. The contractor must develop the measurement and analysis concept, establish and operate measurement sites, conduct automated greenhouse-gas measurements, collect and analyse pore water, process and document data, identify emission hotspots, hot moments and coldspots, and prepare interim and final reports with management recommendations. Measurements must cover three years, at least six campaigns per year, 5–10 days per campaign and at least 42 measurement days and nights per year, including CO2 and CH4 and, where relevant, N2O. The bid deadline is 25 September 2026 at 12:00, alternative bids are not permitted, and the bid must include a detailed technical offer, total price, annual cost overview for 2026–2030 and, if applicable, 2032, and annual resource planning.
