Delivery of 45% Calcium Nitrate Solution

Summary

The tender concerns the supply of 45% calcium nitrate solution to dosing stations at pumping facilities in Nuremberg for the period from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027. The estimated requirement is approximately 250 tonnes of tanker-delivered product in 23.5–27 tonne batches and approximately 36 tonnes of smaller quantities in IBC containers. The solution must be suitable for the existing dosing tanks and operating conditions and must prevent hydrogen sulfide formation in the pressure pipelines. The participation application must be submitted electronically by 21 September 2026 at 23:59. Bidders must provide turnover information for 2023–2025, references for comparable services, registration and insurance evidence, and a product or safety data sheet. A 10-litre product sample must also be delivered by 21 September 2026 for accredited laboratory testing. The nitrate-nitrogen content may vary by no more than +/- 0.30 percentage points by mass, and the product must not damage the epoxy resin coating of the dosing tanks. The only award criterion is the lowest price; alternative bids are not permitted.
