Street and car park cleaning and winter maintenance 2027

Summary

GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research is procuring street and parking-area cleaning and winter maintenance at its Darmstadt sites, with services starting on 1 January 2027. Cleaning includes leaf removal from areas of approximately 40,000 m² of paved routes and traffic areas, 10,000 m² of planted and lawn areas, and 10,000 m² of water-bound surfaces; traffic-area cleaning covers about 37,000 m², and the car park includes approximately 24,074 m² of regular cleaning. The work also includes cleaning road and yard drains and winter maintenance of about 37,000 m² of paved areas, 2,000 m² of yards and footpaths, parking spaces, 38 hall entrances, 155 building entrances, and 120 metres of outdoor stairs and ramps. The initial contract term is two years, with two optional one-year extensions; optional services include complete cleaning of individual car park levels and winter maintenance at the FAIR site.
