Renovation, conversion and expansion of the Schortens community centre – extended structural shell works

Summary

The procurement covers extended structural shell works for the renovation and expansion of the Schortens community centre. The work includes, among other things, earthworks and foundations, masonry and concrete works, construction of three stairwells, steel structures and underpinning of existing structures, limited demolition, core drilling and removal of waste. A new second floor is planned, while parts of the existing community centre will be renovated and extended. The bid deadline is 3 November 2026 at 10:00. Bids must be in German and submitted electronically through the procurement platform, and must remain valid until 30 December 2026. Price is the sole award criterion; alternative bids and multiple main bids are not permitted. Bidders must submit a priced bill of quantities, the required suitability and price-calculation information, and declarations concerning sanctions and tariff compliance. The contractor must appoint a qualified site manager. The site manager and foremen must be able to communicate in German orally and in writing and keep a daily site diary. Work is to take place on weekdays, generally between 07:00 and 20:00. Further qualification and evidence requirements are set out below.
