Building cleaning for the Theodor Fliedner Foundation development on Alberichstraße

Summary

The tender covers post-construction final and fine cleaning of the Theodor Fliedner Foundation’s new building complex at Alberichstraße 100–102 in Mannheim. Both the supported-living building and the daycare centre must be cleaned, including their indoor and outdoor areas. The work includes, among other things, glazing and frames, horizontal blinds, walls, ceilings, floors, stairs, sanitary fittings, radiators, doors, balconies, terraces and outdoor areas. Quantities include, for example, 1,130 m² of glazed surfaces, 9,865 m² of water-sensitive wall surfaces, 4,800 m² of water-sensitive ceilings, 4,200 m² of PVC and linoleum flooring, and 900 m² of outdoor areas. The scope also includes 200 hours of construction-site rough cleaning on an hourly basis and two 7 m³ construction-waste containers. The main work is scheduled to start in calendar week 26 of 2027; individual interim cleans are expected from calendar week 3 of 2027. The daycare centre is scheduled for completion in September 2027 and the supported-living building in December 2027. Bidders must allow for work to be carried out in stages. Hourly work may be performed only on the client’s prior written instruction. The contractor must provide the machines, equipment, cleaning, care and disinfecting products required for the work and manage waste disposal. Products must be compatible with the surfaces being cleaned and safe for the environment and human health; disinfectants must be listed by the German Society for Hygiene and Microbiology. Cleaning must leave surfaces free of dust, stains and streaks and must not damage them. The contractor must submit the required project documentation no later than 12 working days after acceptance.
