Mulching of forest road verges in the Lower Rhine forest districts

Summary

Wald und Holz NRW is procuring a framework agreement for mulching road verges along forest and riding trails in three lots: Reichswald, Hochwald and Leucht. Annual guaranteed quantities are 150, 100 and 150 hours respectively, with optional quantities of 150, 150 and 100 hours; the combined maximum is 800 hours per year. The work includes clearing typical vegetation, including shrubs and thin branches, from verges and slopes using suitable mulching equipment.
