Sewage sludge recovery 2027–2030

Summary

The Stendal-Osterburg Water Association (WVSO) is procuring the collection, transport and recovery of municipal sewage sludge from its treatment plants for 2027–2030. The three lots cover Arneburg, Werben, Bittkau and Goldbeck (about 5,000 m³ per year); Osterburg, Tangerhütte, Lüderitz and Thielbeer (about 12,500 m³ per year); and Kläden (about 1,800 m³ per year). Recovery is primarily agricultural, with composting or thermal treatment as alternatives where required; the contract is for four years, with two optional one-year extensions.
