Painting, Coating and Plastering for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Building Extension and Refurbishment

Summary

The contract covers painting and coating, floor and plinth finishes, interior plastering, and installation of an external thermal insulation composite system for the extension and partial refurbishment of the University Hospital of Tübingen’s child and adolescent psychiatry building. The works include, among other things, OS 8 epoxy coatings and markings for the underground garage and ramp; floor and wall coatings in technical and waste rooms; plastering and painting internal and external walls and ceilings; mineral-wool insulation; coating steel components, railings, frames and steel doors; and protection and joint-sealing work. The works will take place next to an operating hospital, so the contractor must account for restricted access, coordinated deliveries, and noise, dust and safety controls. The tender must be submitted electronically by 13:00 on 2 November 2026 and remain valid until 24 December 2026. Price is the sole award criterion. Work is to start when instructed by the contracting authority, expected by 21 November 2026, and is to be completed within 165 working days. Participation requires the specified suitability self-declaration and price-calculation information; where applicable, documents concerning joint bidders, subcontractors and other companies must also be submitted. Where applicable, the offer must include a commitment declaration on minimum pay or compliance with collective agreements. The contractor must use compliant, approved systems, submit the required test certificates, and obtain approval for sample areas before proceeding with the coating works.
