Firewall cluster including endpoint security solution for the Unstrut-Hainich vocational school campus

Summary

The tender concerns the modernization of the central network and endpoint security solution for the Unstrut-Hainich vocational school campus. The procurement includes a redundant firewall cluster with two nodes in an active/passive configuration, email security functions, centralized management and logging components, a Web Application Firewall for up to five web applications, multi-factor authentication, and VPN access for up to 200 users, as well as a centrally managed endpoint security solution with EDR/XDR functionality for about 610 systems (approximately 550 Windows desktops and 60 Windows servers). The solution includes hardware, software and licenses and services such as concept development, installation, commissioning, configuration, migration and optimization of the existing rule set (currently 56 rules), migration, testing, documentation, acceptance and handover, as well as training and updates and manufacturer support during the contract period.
