Test rig for welding fume extractors including a welding-fume generation unit

Summary

The Deutsche Gesetzliche Unfallversicherung (DGUV), through its Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (IFA), is procuring the design, development, manufacture and commissioning of a test rig for welding fume extractors, including a welding-fume generation unit. The system will measure separation efficiency in accordance with DIN EN ISO 21904-2:2020-06 and test extractors with flow rates from 50 to 2,500 m³/h. The work is arranged in five stages: development of the generation unit, its manufacture and commissioning, development of the integrated test rig, its manufacture and commissioning, and optional optimisation, support and maintenance.
